How I Made a Sick Website Presentation with AI (and you can too!)
Sooo tired of making boring slide decks? Same. Ngl, standing out in class is tough, but what if you could turn your next project into a legit, interactive website presentation? And get it done in, like, less than an hour?
Welcome to my ultimate workflow hack lol. This isn’t just about looking fancy; it’s about using smart tools to go full beast mode on your projects. I’m gonna show you exactly how I use Google AI Studio to spit out a whole website, then throw it up on the internet with GitHub and Netlify. Let’s make something dope.
Step 1: The Brain Dump - Get the AI to Do Your Homework (Kinda)
Okay, first things first. Before we can even dream of a website, we need the actual content, right? If you’ve got a mess of survey data or a bunch of research notes, you can use AI Studio to work its magic.
Just chuck your info into the chat and tell it to pull out the good stuff. Something like:
“Hey, analyze this survey data on student study habits. Give me three key findings, a quick analysis, and five solid recommendations based on what you see.”
The AI will give you a clean, organized summary of your info. This is the text we’re gonna put on our website. Easy peasy.
Step 2: The ULTIMATE Hack - Make the AI Write the Prompt for You
Alright, buckle up, ‘cause this is the 200 IQ move. Writing that super-detailed prompt to generate the website can be a total drag. So… why not just make the AI do it for you?
After it gives you the answers from Step 1, just ask it to write the prompt for the website. Seriously. Try this:
“Okay cool. Now, based on the findings you just gave me, write a detailed prompt for me to use. This new prompt should tell an AI to generate the HTML, CSS, and JS for a modern website presentation with sections for the intro, key findings, data analysis, and your recommendations.”
Pro tip: The AI knows what it just told you, so it can craft the perfect prompt that includes all those details. Mind. Blown.
Step 3: Lock it Down on GitHub
Okay, you’ve got the code! Now let’s stash it on GitHub. This is super important—it’s like a save point for your project so you don’t lose it, and it’s the bridge to getting it online.
But wait! If you don’t have a GitHub account yet, go make one (it’s free and takes like 2 minutes). Trust me, you’ll use it for way more than just this project.
Now, instead of messing with a bunch of commands, you can just connect directly to GitHub by clicking the GitHub button on the top right of the site (or wherever your platform shows it). Follow the prompts to log in and link your account. Boom—your code is safe and sound in your new repo!
If you want to get fancy with Git commands, you totally can, but honestly, clicking the button is way easier for most people. Keep it chill 😎
Step 4: Unleash it with Netlify!
This is where the real magic happens. Netlify is this awesome platform that makes putting websites online from GitHub ridiculously easy. It’s basically a one-click launch button.
Sign up: Go to Netlify, sign up (it’s free!), and connect it to your GitHub account.
Import your project: On your dashboard, hit “Add new site” and then “Import an existing project.”
Pick your repo: Choose GitHub, find your ai-study-presentation repo, and click on it.
Settings (don’t worry about ‘em): Netlify is a genius, so you can prob just leave all the settings as they are. Just make sure the branch is main.
DEPLOY! Smash that “Deploy site” button and watch the fireworks.
In like, 30 seconds, Netlify will build your site and give you a live link. BAM! Your presentation is officially on the internet for the world to see!
You’ve Officially Leveled Up
This whole combo—AI Studio, GitHub, and Netlify—is a total game-changer.
It’s CRAZY fast. We went from a messy idea to a live, shareable website in literally minutes.
You look like a tech wizard. A website presentation is just way cooler than sending a huge PowerPoint file. Anyone can just click the link on any device.
You’re learning real skills. This is actually how legit web developers do their thing. Big W.
So yeah, next time you gotta present something, maybe ditch the slides. Give this a shot and see what you can cook up. Go build something awesome!
